Scared Of Death/Scared to Death

Michael Ball 1958 (United States)

Scared of dyin'?Sayin' No, I'd be lyin'
In a lousy world with a
whole lot of nothin'
The little bit O' good
hangin' out...as long as ya' could

ya' slow down with
aches and pains galore
but the 60's are way to early
So everyday, Ya' ask for more

The days that come
the days that we get
and like the swells off the ocean
ya' ask "is that the last wave of the set"?

Surfin' as a metaphor for life
Barreled!...deep in a moving cave
will always shove the blues aside
and keep that one foot out of the grave
