Quick Sand of Failure.

Why do I do this? I worry, I scramble; only to miss a deadline. I want to make this life extraordinary, will I ever in this lifetime?
Self-sabotage at its greatest, believing that current actions won't poke at the future. I want to make my life effortless, I want it to go by smoothly like scripture.
No strife, no duties, just I; breathing. Cloudy eyes fill the air as I stare at a screen. I want to get up. I can't. Why do I stay idle but subconsciously screaming?

About this poem

A loss in motivation, the feeling of failure is heart sinking.
