Can I live

Your running late on your period,
When you finally realize this is serious.
Daddy keeps saying it’ll be okay,
But you get more nervous each passing day.
You sit on your bed asking yourself why,
When you finally give up and start to cry.
Your only 15.. I could ruin your life,
So what are you gonna do?
Give me life or the knife?
Your thinking to yourself
How can I give my baby what it needs?
When your only 15 and my daddy is 17.
You wanna tell yourself that it’ll go away,
But you always think about it
Because you know I’m here to stay.
You and daddy are scared,
All because of me..
You have to rush and grow up
To raise a baby.
Do you want to have me?
Or just forget I ever happened..
all it takes is a needle or a knife to look past it.
Mommy I don’t want to die..
I haven’t got to experience life.
You should have thought of me
before daddy got inside..
