My Mind

Sandhya Ajai 1973 (Trivandrum)

My mind lit like a bonfire
 Hardly convinced by promises
Like showering flowers on the ripple
 Floated in vain less considered
Never thought one day will be coal
Arrogance protruded in each spark
Never thought desolation my new guest Alas, there came total calmness
Frozen silence hard to melt
Thriving soul for remorse
Yes it's not late to be enlightened
