Tempus Fugit - No. 2

Divine love, eternity, the galaxy so vast:

One focuses on that which forevermore lasts.

Answers forthcoming. Questions unasked.

Help us surrender to our Savior, an iconoclast,

Live for today, forget tribulations past.

People ponder good and evil’s contrasts

While earth lies blanketed under snowy blast.

Each ordinary day passes uneventful, fast,

Nobody sees what good deeds one bypassed,

Or which boundaries were foolishly trespassed.

A true believer remains loyal, steadfast.

Regardless which season or day of the week

One thing is for sure, rest one must sneak.

Seize each minute, each hour, each day!

Life goes on, not always forlorn or bleak,

One need not let time slip slowly away.

One’s will should be strong not weak!

The future arrives. One cannot take a peek!

The high ground one ought to seek!
