To my nanna

poem for you nanna,
I have so many memories, when we were young wild and free,
Your smile so warming like the sunrise over the sea.

Friday night sleepovers with singin’ in the rain, little did I know Fridays would never be t you he same.

Apple and pear parties out in the sun, and marching up the garden path when the day was done.

Sunny afternoons in a floppy sun hat, your kindness shone through and you always had our back.

Painting in the shed, watching the plants grow, my love for you is endless, this you should know.

A day doesn’t pass when your not on my mind and the great thing about you, you were one of a kind.

Although your gone I know your spirit is near helping me conquer my day to day fear.

Thank you nanna for being my number one fan, I’ll miss your dearly, love your granddaughter Abs. ❤️
