Nightfall

When the moon is gone
And the sun shall soon be bright
The day is new
Shattering the night
When we look out and see
The last of the night
Dead to us now
Do not feel fright
FRIGHT
DO NOT FEEL FRIGHT
DO NOT FEEL FEAR
Although the day is young
and midday it draws near
The dawn is young
It will come again
We know this now
and could not remember when
It had first begun
I dont think we can ever
Really understand
When it first began
WHEN
DID
IT
FIRST BEGIN
When it first began
Oh so long ago
Before we were here
Of a time we do not know
Of a time now gone
If I was a poet
I would sing it out loud
I would put it in a song
Where were we
When it first began
I dont think that we
Really understand
But as the sun sinks low
Ever from the sky
Ever evil some and I do not know where
Somewhere he thought
He had read in the Ancient Scrolls
We must ask ourselves
WHY
NOW
WE MUST DIE
The night now dark
No stars to be found
Where did they go
Where are they now
There is no light
Ever be found
EVER
ever
The chambers were dark
The mountain was tall
Only darkness
There was only darkness raining from the sky above
The cold
Dark
Sky
The sky of the night above
They were here
To talk about
LOVE
love
THEY WERE HERE
TO TALK
ABOUT
LOVE
Silent, I just kept walking, having the light of just the rolled cigarette I was smoking, My cough was getting worse. I heard a noise far ahead
They were just the Beginning
