Reeking Of Guilt

The best of lies to tell,
Are the ones already known too well.
And used as familiar tools,
To win an argument successfully.
Leaving those who choose clarity,
Depicted to be self inflicted fools.

However...
In this confusion factless based,
Society we live in today.
Hoping truth to speak and say.
As a defense to use.
May be considered brave.
Yet not too often recommended to suggest.
Being a martyr provides benefts.
If one believes,
This to do will prove to anyone...
An integrity to have with credibility to reveal,
Has anything to do...
To prevent them from being found quilty.
And a threat to a society,
Fed to fiction and delude a way of life.
Daring to convince anyone...
Should not be an act of treason.

Or at best...
Someone who has the 'balls' to confess,
The B.S. that has others addicted...
Has of yet not had any affect at all,
On their conscious minds to observe...
Fiction to live it and pledged to love,
Is more a neurotic addition.
And a psychotic condition.
That has become a craze.
To submit and volunteered to admit,
Being medicated erases to numbness...
A truth and its reality,
Completely removed from existence!

'So...
You dare to say,
You take no mind altering medications?'

'Well...
I do smoke cigarettes on occasion.'

'And...
Would you admit to say,
You are hooked on nicotine.
And enjoy caffeine when drinking coffee?'

'Yes.
I somehow need them both,
To begin my day!'

'Whew!
That's a relief.
So...
You are a hypocrite?
No different than the rest of us!'

'No!
I am not confessing to that at all.
I am not a worshipping hypocrite.
I happen to exercise, meditate...
Watch my diet.
And practice yoga on a daily basis!
I happen to be a law abiding citizen.
With a devotion to keep,
My belief kept that way.

'And...
I use to chew bubble gum and blow bubbles.
Has anyone ever told you,
To keep your mouth and lips closed tight.
Especially when approaching the finish line?
Whether or not to be declared the winner.
But at least seen to have endured the race?
What's wrong with you?
You just admitted being unpatriotic.
And practicing treasonous activities.'

'Who me?'

'Yes.
You...
You reek of guilt.
And smell of organic persuasion.
We can not have someone like you,
Roaming freely around the streets.
Preaching with a clear and vivid,
Consciousness.
Volunteering a healthy way to live life.
And unsolicited done to do too?
What on Earth are your 'balls' made of?
Platinum!?
Bailiff?
Come and lock this nut up!'
