Softly Said.

His voice spoke so softly
it was as if stroking the air
on a birds wings
as slow as watching evolution
which he had so lovingly.
His hands had lifted his sword
like the weight of a million souls
taken from diseased bodies
to stem the darkness into light.
Such a hoard was not taken
unquestioned and thoughtlessly;
for reasons far greater than man
or angel or singular creation.
The water in the air was as clear
as the message was stunning to hear
because God had spoken
there was no fear.
