Could I Speak In Other Tongues

Could I Speak In Other Tongues
Author: Mark V. Markov

Could I speak in other tongues?
Confession of love
Beg for mercy and pardon of sin
Expression of the pain
That I feel within.

My body is weak
Soul is full of turmoil
Sometimes it feels like my heart
Is corruptible to the core
Desires of this world
Eyes are insatiable I always want more.

Here on earth there are gods and goddesses
But there many forever burn
It’s not easy to grow and learn
To fall into deception and then try
To overcome the fallen nature
Of our life.

One man came in the name of love
One man came to die for all
At Him I look to get inspired
Through Him I learn to carry on and grow

Lord I know that you can understand my nature
Have mercy to my pleading cry
Help me not to suffocate my spirit
In the core heart of my soul I don’t wanna prematurely die.

Who can save me from temptation?
And deliver me from damnation
Who? if not You Jesus Christ.
You were there in my life
You were there in the times
You were always beyond my comprehension
Paid to every detail
With your undivided attention.

I always knew that I had you in my life
I always knew you were by my side
I was looking for a spiritual haven,
And I found the place
In the beauty of your incredible grace.

Your elegant beauty is true
It shines so bright
Yet my faults make me wonder
Could I be faithful forever
Living blameless in the light.

Understanding my faltered ways
When You uncovered my eyes
I learned to shine in the essence of tranquility.
May I be with You forever!

Could my soul speak in other tongues?
I wanna have eternal love, I wanna try
And constantly try to make a better picture of this life,
Longing for the heavens high above.

Could I speak in other tongues?
With all my heart I fear You Lord
As I’m being transformed
May the Holy Spirit
May the Holy Fire
May the Everlasting Love burn in me, setting my spirit free.
Protect my soul Lord from the darkness
As I speak in tongues
I will always glorify Thee.

May my spirit communicate
With Your Spirit oh God
For I wanna see celestial eternity,
That is hidden in the reflection,
Reflection of Your intriguing beauty...

John 10:34-35 (ESV)

34 Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your Law, ‘I said, you are gods’?

35 If he called them gods to whom the word of God came—and Scripture cannot be broken—

Psalm 82 (ESV)

Rescue the Weak and Needy

A Psalm of Asaph.

1 God has taken his place in the divine council;
in the midst of the gods he holds judgment:

2 “How long will you judge unjustly
and show partiality to the wicked? Selah

3 Give justice to the weak and the fatherless;
maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute.

4 Rescue the weak and the needy;
deliver them from the hand of the wicked.”

5 They have neither knowledge nor understanding,
    they walk about in darkness;
all the foundations of the earth are shaken.

6 I said, “You are gods,
    sons of the Most High, all of you;

7 nevertheless, like men you shall die,
    and fall like any prince.”

8 Arise, O God, judge the earth;
for you shall inherit all the nations!

Acts 19:1-7 (ESV)

Paul in Ephesus

1 And it happened that while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul passed through the inland country and came to Ephesus. There he found some disciples.

2 And he said to them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” And they said, “No, we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.”

3 And he said, “Into what then were you baptized?” They said, “Into John's baptism.”

4 And Paul said, “John baptized with the baptism of repentance, telling the people to believe in the one who was to come after him, that is, Jesus.”

5 On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

6 And when Paul had laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they began speaking in tongues and prophesying.

7 There were about twelve men in all.

1 Corinthians 2:15-16 (ESV)

15 The spiritual person judges all things, but is himself to be judged by no one.

16 “For who has understood the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?”
But we have the mind of Christ.

His Breath Of Life
By Mark V. Markov

Since Elohim breathed in
His breath of life
Into Adam
And gave him life
Elohim also breathed in
His breath of life
Into Eve
And gave her life

Since Adam was created by God
Therefore he was a son of God
Since Eve was created by God
Even though she was created from the rib of Adam
And there is a reference
In the word of God
Where it said
Daughters of men.
She was created by God also

God breathed into her
His breath of life.
For without God'a breath of life
There would be no life
Inside of her.
So she is the daughter of God also.
Therefore the Holy Scripture
In the psalm says
“You are gods,
sons of the Most High, all of you;
So if men are sons of the Most High
The women are daughters

If we are children of God
Then men are gods
And women are godesses.
That is how Adam and Eve were created.
They were created by Elohim that way,
Before the fall.

That controversial chapter of being baptized in the Holy Ghost with initial evidence of speaking in other tongues. As a logical person and a professional I fought the invitation. Imagine that, my intellectual pride sought to smother the uprising of something wonderful from my innermost belly. Well, one summer night I ventured a responding. And in a flash I knew that I had a couple of words that were not my own. Followed by what seemed to be a couple of strange sentences. I exercised the responses in following weeks, Nothing hysterical or imitative. I had it as per the promises and nineteen. I was convinced that there had been growth in praise, holy intimacy and prayer effectiveness. It was a quiet orderly thing of yielding the wind and tongue. Spirit gave the words. Jesus got the Glory.
