Jesus Christ Saved You

Jesus Christ Saved You
Author: Mark V. Markov

Glory be to Father, Son, Holy Spirit
People let us always remember
To glorify Jesus Christ
Our Redeemer and Savior
But the cross
Is just an object
Just two pieces of wood.

Even though
The cross relates to Christianity
But only because of Jesus Christ
Dying on it for us.
People please remember

Jesus Christ saved you
The cross did not save you
Jesus Christ died for you
The cross did not die for you

The blood of Jesus Christ purified you
But the cross is just an object
That is associated
With what happened to Him
Because of our sins

The power is in Jesus Christ
The Only Begotten Son
Since He died for us on the cross
And rose again.

Yes, because our Lord Jesus Christ
Gave His life away for us
On the cross
When you mention the cross
It does relate
To the power of Jesus Christ.
For we are saved
By Jesus Christ.

Yet the cross by itself
Is just two pieces of wood
On which criminals were executed before.
Without Jesus Christ
The only Begotten Son
Dying for us as a sacrifice
And being raised on the third day.

Giving redemption and salvation
For those who believe
To forever exist with Him,
With God the Father, and the Holy Spirit
Without Jesus Christ
We would have nothing.

Without Jesus Christ.
There would be nothing.
No redemption for us.

So always please remember
Never to glorify the object
Don't glorify the cross
It is just two pieces of wood.
Without Jesus Christ
It would mean nothing
Buy just a punishment for criminals.

Because of Jesus Christ
We have salvation.
Because Jesus Christ died for us
And paid for our sins
Being raised back to life
On the third day.

When Paul said he preached
About the cross
And Jesus Christ crucified
People please remember
He also preached
About His resurrection

For we learn from Apostle Paul
Being filled by the Holy Spirit.
Because Jesus lives
We will live again also.
As those who are saved
Their spirits rest in heaven for now.

And as Jesus Christ was resurrected
All His true followers
Someday will be resurrected
To have new glorified bodies
Just like Him.

Glory be to Father, Son, Holy Spirit
People let us always remember
To glorify Jesus Christ
Our Redeemer and Savior.

Even though
The cross relates to Christianity
But only because of Jesus Christ
Dying on it for us.
People always please remember

Jesus Christ saved you
The cross did not save you
Jesus Christ died for you
The cross did not die for you

The blood of Jesus Christ purified you
But the cross is just an object
That is associated
With what happened to Him
Because of our sins

Do you pray to the cross?
Or do you pray to Jesus?
Yes, the cross relates to Christianity
But we receive salvation
Because Jesus died for us
Because Jesus suffered for us
And because Jesus rose back to life

So we two someday
Could have a new body
Just like Him
And always exist with Him
In eternal joy and happiness
Forever and ever.

Yes, the cross is a reminder to us
Of what He had to go through
Out of His love for us
And the cross always relates
To Christianity
Because He suffered for us
On the cross

But salvation is only
In the Lamb of God
The only Begotten Son of God
Who took away the sins of the world.

Salvation for us,
Is in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Glory, honor, and praise be to Him.
Glory, honor, and praise  be
To the Heavenly Father,
His only Begotten Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Glory, honor, and praise be
To Elohim the Triune God
Blessed Holy Trinity.
Forever and ever, amen.

John 1:29 (ESV)
Behold, the Lamb of God

29 The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!

Numbers 27:16-17 (ESV)

16 “Let the Lord, the God of the spirits of all flesh, appoint a man over the congregation

17  who shall go out before them and come in before them,
who shall lead them out and bring them in, that the congregation of the Lord may not be as sheep that have no shepherd.”

The spirits of all flesh means
That everyone has a human spirit in the body.
The numbers 27 verse 16 says all flesh.

God wants all of us
To be baptized in water
And to be born of the Holy Spirit
With that one time speaking in tongues
As a confirmation

After that the Holy Spirit
Assigns a gift or gifts
To the believers
From the list of the gifts
Of the Holy Spirit

Speaking in tongues
That one time
When we ask to be baptized in the Holy Spirit
Is a confirmation to us
And to the world
That we are baptized in the Holy Spirit.
