That Man

Mohammed Razeen 2006 (Kerala)

Narrative
He look like a gentleman
But only the heart knows,
For what he really is.

He should be happy,
Enjoying his life
with his loved ones and friends.

But he's locked himself,
In his little cage
Fearing of other's thoughts.

He feels the cold on him
The eyes of the other's
For it is all a lie.

About this poem

I wrote this poem while I was studying for English exam. I was inspired by the poems in my book that I thought "wow if only I could write something like this". I know it my poem isn't great or whatever but still, I wanted someone to read my poem. Good Day.
