A Thin Veil

Teach love in every daily sphere.
To its universal law adhere.

To dwell in love makes life more dear,
So, embrace hope through each year.

Angels bear messages of victory, cheer,
God’s call stirs hearts. It is clear.

Holy scripture, ideals we so revere,
Carries prophesy, promises sincere.

Christ comforts us in our fear.
Christ Himself shall dry each tear.

One beseechs God when paradise draws near.
The bridge to eternal life we endear.

The veil between life and death, so sheer,
That strains of celestial choir we hear.
