An immigrant's journey

Abdul Tinubu 1971 (London)

Horrors of my childhood, did not realize the devastating effects but still i thrive, raised by a rock of a mom who also filled the gap of a nonexistent dad, boy was i lucky, born in England raised in Nigeria a place full of horrors and insanity but damn it i survived, setting people on fire and feeling good about it not realizing the devastating negative effects it was having on me thanks to the creator i eventually got myself together mentally, growing up in Nigeria hardened and desensitized me a place full of hatred and no empathy not because the people are evil but due to devastating poverty how i count myself lucky for getting out alive, a place where setting petty thieves was normal and accepted while politicians robbed the country blind, eventually came here to the states where i almost had a mental breakdown due to the buildup of all the demons in my head lucky for me i found and developed a link with the universe not the religious version and it cleared my head of all the demons torturing me, i thank the universe for being alive today
