Death of a Mother

Keila R Martin 1979 (Lafayette)

Losing loved ones is a part of life, but a death of a mother just don't hit right. You may have another that treats you as her own. But in your heart you know you don't belong. You miss her smile and her loving grace, death of a mother will not fill that void or that space. You know in your mind a mother can't be replaced, you try to keep busy and to have a better day but all you wanted is your mother to stay. Hoping and praying to fill that space, just wanting to see your mother's face. Falling in a state of depression cause you want to hear her voice, life throws death as us like it's a choice. Death of a mother hits very hard, leaving your heart so full and scarred. I love you momma!!!

Aw a touching moving poem, indeed many mothers are irreplaceable and the loss is felt throughout life esp if she died younger. Kudos for this sentimental soulful poem.

Plz do read and comment my newest poem too, im new here but have been writing on other sites since ages.
