A rake

A rake

Leaves falling here and there,
Nouns, adjectives, adverbs and
Verbs,
Words blown away,
Windy it was that day,
Flying high and low,
And a man sitting on the terrace of a French café,
Waiting on being served,
Holding a newly-bought rake in his hand,
Trying to collect the words tossed here and there,
Like a puzzle,
He could hear the sound of each word,
He could see their meaning,
He tried to stick them together,  framing them,
Each line finishing with the same sound,
Each line having the same weight.
But, the wind blew again,  mixing them all,
just raking all the words out!
The man still holding his rake,
And the wind raking on him!
