River

K.m.nandini 1965 (Coimbatore)

River---'
River oh river ,you run through mountains, rugged rocks.
You run silently and at times ferociously.
As you flow, ferociously
How many many things
Get gobbled by you
Humans,animals,houses,
Your fury is unstoppable.
With so much anger,all
You do is quietly mingle with the seas.River oh River.

About this poem
