Being Remembered

BEING REMEMBER
Theologically is to put back together
Re-member, rebuild, reassemble, reenact.
Remembering a thanksgiving is putting together
an event that is acted out.
It is to re-enact an event or occasion that encourages
Remembering an event and/or a person and/or a people.
The fear that I live with is being forgotten.
Can I do anything
To rid myself of that fear?

As a person when I reach the END.
I’m dead.
Any remembrance is in the hands of others.
My last request is in the hands of others.
Dying is giving up
On a scale somewhere between
Gracefully & Ungracefully.
We can decide but not know until it occurs
And maybe not then
depending on our level of conscientiousness
at the moment.

So, the last conscious decision is who I trust?

I trust God is a reality.
Is that enough?
I hope so because that is as much as I can muster.
