Vacation

A mountain cottage by the lake
The little things I take
An extra key, flashlight and sun block
Pictionary, camera, Palm pilot, clock
A recording of My Love is Here to Stay
And one of American in Paris, cards to play
Silva's English Assassin novel, many sweets
Miscellaneous bundle of more treats
Grand vacation far away from home
The evergreens and pine trees, fields I roam
6000-foot mountain air to excite my mood
Away from communication in this interlude
Lofty, sumptuous meals, fish to be caught
Verbal expression and much intrinsic thought
Serenity with mountain lakes at my beck and call
An air of inner beauty for us all
