I Had A Dream

Truly though, I had a dream
It was enveloped in clouds of cupcake cream
I saw unicorns that fly
Immortal ones that never die
I, yes I could fly with wings
And in my dream I could sing
Heavenly songs filled with joy
And in came the bellboy

I have seen the glory
In a little church in my territory
Now far away
I dream of the day
I will return
To those unconcerned
What does it matter now
I see heavenly rain upon my brow
Even Now!

My wings will take me to the moon
To your love I am not immune
I will fly to the stars
And then Venus and Mars
Perhaps I will meet you in the air
Lord only knows that is my prayer
I will sup with him and he with me
We will return with him in glory!

About this poem
