An ecstasy painter

Pick your own weapon of choice.
Be it a brush, pen, chisel or voice.
A part of our family, you can be.
Simply let your heart drift into the sea.

Allow yourself to be swallowed by the paint.
The majestic artist bonds with his palette.
Eat the feast provided by the canvas's saint.
And let the colors cleanse your palate.

His movements like grand surgery of a heart.
With a scalpel, he tears life into an empty skin.
Operating on a life, God's biggest art.
Hope that the patient's dye doesn't run too thin.

Leaving tracks of color, as he drags his brush.
Trapping queen's ecstasy in the frame.
Capturing her glory and body in a single rush.
Putting on display the colorful notes of her flame.

His mind and hand busy all day and night,
thinking how to capture such an unworldly delight.
Seeings haunt his dreams, leave his head to wonder.
And the eldritch realm makes his body wander.

His fingers, guided by the strings of his visions.
Following a carefree road of the cosmic thread.
"To use red or blue?", he makes his decisions,
while she is posing on the world's bed.

The final touches of paint are applied.
The final line is placed on it's spot,
The final tears of colors are dried.
The final shard of essence is caught.

His work is done, and so is mine.
I drew his work with words and care.
He created such an art of divine,
while I tried painting his air.
