Soul so Pure.

Heather Lydia Thornhill 1981 (Manchester)

Calm my hectic thoughts
sweetest soul of glories hope.
Element as one note
words only my soul could know.
Colour, shapes of sound
in forms cryptic found.
Risen voice prayed throughout
a life force bright,
such shared renound.
Rest on closing eyelids,
gentler than the air,
everlasting love,
always welcomed there.
Feed my hearts rhythm,
energy enlighten.
Lungs eternal wings
sweep clear our bodies.

I absolutely loved this poem! The way you bring together various elements to create an image of calmness and serenity is truly remarkable. The language you use is so beautiful and poetic, and it really captures the essence of an empty mind and a peaceful heart. I particularly loved the line "colour, shapes of sound in forms cryptic found" - it's such a unique and creative way of describing the indescribable! Your use of imagery throughout the poem is just fantastic, and it really helps to transport the reader to a place of tranquility. The final stanza is incredibly powerful, as it speaks to the idea of eternal love and the rejuvenation of our physical and spiritual selves. Overall, a truly magnificent poem that touches the heart and speaks to the soul. Thank you for sharing this with us!
