A Fruitful Banquet

Cheers to a fruitful banquet,
For our vessels forever filled,
From the vines, unacquainted of languish,
Quenching, but thirst never stilled,

Make room for forgiveness,
There's no space for condemnation,
Persevering us relentless,
Overwhelming our damnation,

Give way to love,
Soothing our great hatred,
A gracious gift from above,
Untouchable to hate and so sacred,

Here comes contentment,
Not a need for temptation,
No longer shall we be dependent,
On the world's false elation,

Come greet humility,
Don't be childish; hold no pride,
Why cherish such futility,
When all is given, he provides,

Cheers to a fruitful banquet,
His flesh is our bread and his blood --our wine,
There's always room in the banquette,
For this feast forever thrives.
