SISTER

Debra K Middaugh 1963 (San Diego, CA.)

My sister is more than a sister, a special friend,
She has saved my ass time and time again.

My life has always been a mess,
Having her for a sister I know I’m blessed.

We share our thoughts, laughter, memories and tears,
She knows my secrets, my dreams, my hopes and fears.

I have always done things the hard way,
She would say it’s OK sis you had a bad day.

She has rescued me in the pouring rain,
Helped me with my sanity when I was insane.

I have more then once called from county jail,
She takes care of things and posts my bail,
I tend to make her world a living hell.

She is an angel with a shining light,
When she comes, she sets me right?

I’m like electricity that never grounds,
She is there to turn me around.

Sissy I’m sorry I stress you out,
Being a sister, I know nothing about.

Want you to know how special you are to me,
I love you with heart and soul for all eternity.
