This Is What We Call Life

Amrisha Ranjan 2021 (Araria,Bihar)

When a day brightens through it rays,
And The Moon shines to it's praise,
I know it why

When a bird flies up in the sky,
Giving me wings to own mine
I know it now

When a child lits up with just a pie,
Thirsting to never ask why
I know it now why

When the world denies to who really am I
But approves when I reach at height
I just say I know it why

Wondering about those childhood days
Those mischiefs and silly lies
I know them all now
Because this is what they call life.
