No longer apart tho time felt still
The lingering gone
Death can heal
His wounded heart once miles apart
Together again
Love knows no end
Good job faithful servant, I'll lead the way
No looking back, the past can stay
They'll be ok, I'll hold them dear
Together again
No more fear
True love reunited in every way
For every second for every day
A lasting embrace forever more
Just you and your bride, who needs more
She's been waiting for you
She'll meet you just there
A lifetime together can't even compare
Together again
Without end
I see her now
She sees me too
Arms embraced a love so true
Together at last

About this poem
This piece was wrote for my family, after the passing of their father. He played a huge role in my life and I wanted to help start their healing journey and the most comforting thing from his death was him being reunited with his beloved in heaven. I hope you like it.
