The Plague

Michael Salowski 1969 (Vancouver)

When the plague is over
will the streams rejoice
Will the sky smile
Will the animals, sing

When the plague is over
will the trees breathe again
Will the fish leap,
the birds fly high
the dirt be clean

when the plague is over
The earth will sigh
The great blue ball
will again be free,

When the plague is over,
they all will forget
to say goodbye to you and me.
