The Happiest Girl
Khushi Mishra 2001 (Gorakhpur)
In the world of lies
Whom can you trust ,
You pretend to be honest
Who knew the faces behind the mask ,
Hiding herself is a big task .
One day would come
When you are done ,
With those fake smile
Pretending to be shy
So , let's not lie
You can too cry ,
Need not to hide
Behind those fake smile .
I know you are warrior
And you have to make your carrier ,
Now let's stand up
To wake you up
It's high time,
To make you up .
Don't feel alone
Because you are only not lost
In this world full of lies
You should be happier
So what if world lies .
About this poem
This poem is basically about about a girl who seems to be very happy but when she came to know about the harsh realities of life she was somewhat lost and unable to tackle the real world but a day will come when she will again be happy and stand for her own self . The irony is the title where it is given she is very happy but in actual what sense that happiness is described in the poem.
