Shattered Soul

My heartbeats fall apon deaf ears,
Slowly taking away all my fears.
Coldness starts closing in from all around,
As shards from my soul shatter to the ground.
Teardrops begin to fall from the skies,
Echoeing tiny raindrops as they form in my eyes.
The hurting carries on,going so deep,
And the starlit skies burn, flames growing as I weep.
There's tears of fury, tears of hate,
As I begin cursing my destined fate.
My walls  down, exposing the world outside,
Constantly a reminder all the failure when I tried.
I tried my best to perfect for the one I love,
I wanted to be his bliss, his angel from above.
The failure reminds me of all I couldn't be,
Yet I chose this life, I made my own destiny.
Its taking away all the joy, leaving behind the pain,
My world is so bleak, like a darkened stain.
I'm sure you know by now that you broke my heart,
You tore it to pieces, right from  the start.
A thief in the night, my heart you stole,
But you gave it back as a shattered soul.
