My prayer for Myron

As I lay me down to sleep
Please lord comfort me while I weep
I’m heart broken and it’s not for me to understand
Just wipe my tears and don’t let go of my hand
You know the pain I’m feeling inside
Something I can’t describe
Help me get up from here I’m very weak
Because despite how I feel it’s you I seek
If I shall die before I wake
Take me right to my brother for goodness sake
I’m trying to cope and find a way
But praying is what I do every day
I’m lost without him heartbroken I stated before
This one hurts me to the core
Death is a natural part of life
but does it always have to cut deep like a knife
You took my dad, you took Jenny Hallmon now Myron Braccen to sit with you along your throne
My fear is now I’m alone
I’m in a very dark space
And every time I sleep I see their face
So watch me and hold me while I sleep
and I’m working on my soul in which I know you’ll keep

Rest in peace my only sibling Myron Lee Bracken

Aquilla Bracken

Im a 33 year old single mom from Denver Co. I have always loved to write. I grew up in memphis Tn and I love to travel. I have lived many places but always found my way back home. I also love to sing but my voice is for church. It has always been me and my brother. We were 11 months apart so for 30 days we are the same age. God has other plans so despite my pain I want to believe walking by faith and not by sight 2nd Corinthians 5:7 more…
