CHELSEA WAS ALONE

CHELSEA WAS ALONE
By Tom Sabel

She sat alone in her room,
 it was evening.
Her thoughts from the day
were just leaving.
And Chelsea felt good.
Life shined like
Smooth wood.
This girl thought her silence
had been Heaven sent.
Sat by the window
where her best times were spent.
After painting her nails
Chelsea sang from her book.
There was a noise by the door
so she gave it a look.
The sound broke the silence
she valued so much.
In walked her sister with
Candles flowers and such.
The sibling disturbed her
and Chelsea asked why.
Rude interruptions
will bring her to cry.
Sister Mary was talking
Chelsea wouldn’t speak back
When sister got closer
it was time to attack.
Chelsea took out the
Razor she kept in her drawer
Then slashed Mary’s neck....
Mary fell to the floor.
The blood just  kept flowing
as she lie in its pond.
Chelsea watched
Mary dying as crimson blood
mixed with blond.
Sister’s eyes were half-closed.
She didn’t move anymore.
Chelsea went back
to her singing
With  sister dead on the floor.
