Difficult To Believe

Incredible as it is,
I find it difficult to believe...
There are people who still refuse to accept,
The many who go to great lengths...
To get and have life lived their way.
Regardless of others.
Just to mess up,
Everybody's quality of life.
Including their own.
And then to accuse those who choose,
To obey and follow laws and rules...
As being fools and unpatriotic.

'No way?
Here?
In The United States of America?'

Yep.
Right here in the land,
Where people are dependent upon others.
Regardless of race, religious beliefs.
Political affiliation.
Color of eyes or hair texture.

'No?'

Yes!
And not only that.
These are the very same people,
Who oppose and object...
The success others acquire to obtain.
Even though they too benefit from it.

'No way?'

Yes way.
And to claim themselves,
In the majority.
With everything at their fingertips.
Yet blame those they say,
Who are in the minority...
The ones threatening to destroy,
Freedoms and entitlements...
They deserve but most don't get!'

'Where on Earth did you hear,
Such foolish and ridiculous rumors?
Or...
If possible,
Show me examples of this!'

Okay!

'Well...
Show me!
Where is this nonsense?'

I can't believe you don't see it!
Up front and close enough,
To touch your nose.

'How many times have I told you,
I don't live in this neighborhood?
And besides...
I still can not believe,
You love living here.
What on Earth is wrong with you?
You act and speak intelligently.
Look...
And please don't be offended.
I have yet to see anyone,
Pretending to be someone else!
So tell me this...
What kind of life is that to live?
To claim to love and be happy about it!'

You don't get it!

'Oh, really?
Is that so?
And I will pray everyday it stays that way!
