The Faith In Jesus Christ

The Faith In Jesus Christ
Author: Mark V. Markov

The faith in Jesus Christ,
Is a simple three steps to take.
Step one;
Be baptized in water.

Step two,
Be baptized with the Holy Spirit.
With evidence of speaking in tongues.

Step three,
Keep the Ten and the Two Commandments
Continue to remain in the relationship
With Jesus Christ that way, all your life.
It doesn't matter,
In what order you start.

The faith in Jesus Christ,
Is a simple three steps to take.
Salvation in Jesus Christ
Is just three steps away...

I had to write a simple poem, so even a child could understand the path to salvation. Yes indeed salvation is not complicated, it's only three steps away.

Matthew 28:16-20 ESV

16 Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them.

17 And when they saw him they worshiped him, but some doubted.

18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Mark 16:14-16 ESV

14 Afterward he appeared to the eleven themselves as they were reclining at table, and he rebuked them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they had not believed those who saw him after he had risen.

15 And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.

16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

Jesus Christ told this to His disciples after He rose from the dead.(When He died on the cross for us. He paid for our sins and officially gave us grace.)
So after He gave us grace.
He instructed all His believers to get baptized and to teach others what He taught. And He taught to keep the Commandments.

John 14:15 ESV
Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit
“If you love me, you will keep my commandments.

John 14:21 ESV
Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him"

John 15:10 ESV
If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love

Matthew 19:17 ESV
And he said to him, “Why do you ask me about what is good? There is only one who is good. If you would enter life, keep the commandments.”

Luke 10:25-28 ESV
25 And behold, a lawyer stood up to put him to the test, saying, “Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?”

26 He said to him, “What is written in the Law? How do you read it?”

27 And he answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.”

28 And he said to him, “You have answered correctly; do this, and you will live.”

1 John 2:3 ESV
And by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments.

1 John 2:4 ESV
Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him,

1 John 3:22 ESV
and whatever we ask we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do what pleases him.

1 John 3:24 ESV
Whoever keeps his commandments abides in God, and God in him. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit whom he has given us.

1 John 5:2 ESV
By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and obey his commandments.

1 John 5:3 ESV
For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome.

2 John 1:6 ESV
And this is love, that we walk according to his commandments; this is the commandment, just as you have heard from the beginning, so that you should walk in it.

Exodus 20 ESV

The Ten Commandments

1 And God spoke all these words, saying,

2 “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.

3 “You shall have no other gods before me.

4 “You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

5 You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me,

6 but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.

7 “You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain.

8 “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.

9 Six days you shall labor, and do all your work,

10 but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your male servant, or your female servant, or your livestock, or the sojourner who is within your gates.

11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.

12 “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.

13 “You shall not murder.

14 “You shall not commit adultery.

15 “You shall not steal.

16 “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

17 “You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his male servant, or his female servant, or his ox, or his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor's.”

As One Keeps
By Mark V. Markov

To truly love God
With all your heart, soul, and mind.
Is to keep the Ten Commandments of God
And the second commandment of Jesus Christ

As one keeps
The Ten and the Second Commandment
Of Jesus Christ
Than the one
Truly loves God with all heart, soul, and mind.

So therefore
The one
Keeps the first commandment of Jesus Christ
Yes he or she keeps it fully.

As one keeps
The Ten and the Second Commandment
Of Jesus Christ
Than the one
Truly loves God with all heart, soul, and mind.
