Sin on my Heart.

Heather Lydia Thornhill 1981 (Manchester)

I didn't have the right to love you,
What you said was true
My body was weaker and passionless
But my mind was not untrue
Deep down routine was all I had
That wasn't good enough for you
My clothes were dated and bleak
Not nearly as vibrant as you
New love was always rationless
Especially for you
I didn't have the right to hate you
Though I knew not what to do
I didn't have the right to love you
Though you left me feeling blue.
I didn't have the right to forget you
But forgive is what I'd do.
