Cut

I go to the kitchen and get a knife,
That’s it I’m going to take my life

I move the knife across my flesh ,
And ask god why I wasn’t blessed

Now I’m on the laying on the  floor bleeding,
And in some way healing

About this poem

I was actually really young when I wrote this poem around 13 years old. I am 32 now with a 13 year old of my own. She has stress or problems and some times as adults those problems are not a big deal and pay no attention to our kids and their problems because to them it’s a big deal. They start to build issues whether it be self esteem issues, socializing issues depression that affect them later on in adulthood and they will carry these issues for the rest of their life. I am one of those kids Who carry way too many issues. Pay closer attention to your kids you never know what they are going through.
