It NEVER rings.

One day when I awoke I saw you standing there,
It seemed like the next day I awoke and the house was totally bare.
What did I truly do,
But really I just tried to help you.
I moved here for you this time,
You failed to give me so much as even a dime.
If I had known that it was so easy for you to toss me aside,
I would have NEVER came to being tossed OUTSIDE.
Instead I'm sitting here listening for this phone to ring,
It's then that I remember from the past that this phone NEVER RINGS.
