The Divine Exchange

The little girl, not more than ten,
selling sticks of incense,
standing by road.
I was attracted by lingering fragrance.

She begged me
to buy few
and flung me
a smiling view.  

Neither I could turn down her offer
nor fade her smile
as I was willing to walk
to enjoy her smile, mile after mile.

It was a divine exchange.
She earned trifle and was delighted.
My heart was with bliss,
which was very long doomed and crippled.
