Love is not so far away
I hear the angels say

Sound of hope
Or maybe just a ghost
Like a twirling in my mind
It makes the heart wonder,

Somehow will our love survive,
Will she forever be mine
If not now then someday,
But here comes rain,
The rain along with thunder,

Silently at night I lay
Thoughts they pass
They pass me by
Gently passing through my mind
And once again I begin to wonder,

Was it ever our destiny?
Will she be forever with me?
Will someday the promise of our love?
Will it ever come true to be?

Was it meant to be forever?
