Fantasy

Pin Lim 1982 (Montreal)

Fantasy

What if I never met you? would life be any different? or stayed the same
Because these hurtful feelings aren't playing a fair game
Torn apart by visions of you in black & white playing on a loop
Body failing to comply while my mind is slowly trying to regroup

To try to piece back all the shards together that's been all over the place
Slowly but eventually someday I will manage to be able to forget your face
Still breaking down sometimes knowing our story is coming to an end
Some things aren't just meant to be it's just hard to comprehend

The world works in many mysterious ways maybe it's sending me a message
That it may hurt for now and everything seems like a disadvantage
Unusual as it for now for me to believe all  the contents presented
Emotions are still in a state of shock and kind of disoriented

Can't do much anymore anyways but to wait and see for a turn of events
To present itself upon me that I can still believe in love and all its contents
But for the time being, it's hard for me to believe anything going right
For this fairy tale has come to an end the clock just struck midnight.
