Woman's Beauty Is A Blessing
Woman's Beauty Is A Blessing
Author: Mark V. Markov
Woman's beauty is a blessing
A blessing from God
As Holy Scripture says
For You formed my inward parts;
You knitted me together in my mother's womb.
Sarah, Abraham's wife
Was very beautiful
So beautiful
That Abraham was afraid for his life
Because of other people
That lived in the area
Where he was traveling
But God protected Him all his life.
Woman's beauty is a blessing
A blessing from God
As Holy Scripture says
For you have formed my inner parts;
You knitted me together in my mother's womb.
What God blessed you with
Is the same question
What will you do?
With what God gave you?
That lovely beautiful form.
Will you find your husband
And be together until death do you part?
Be his beauty
Be his treasure.
Be his loving partner
Be his loving wife
Together always believing in Jesus Christ.
Rachel was very beautiful also
So beautiful
That Jacob agreed to work for free
For seven years
And then for seven years more.
Just so he would marry her
And be with her all his life.
Woman's beauty is a blessing
A blessing from God
As Holy Scripture says
For You formed my inward parts;
You knitted me together in my mother's womb.
Rachel was blessed by God
With beauty
And she accepted the marriage to Jacob
Remaining with him all her life...
Genesis 29:15-20 (ESV)
15 Then Laban said to Jacob, "Because you are my kinsman, should you therefore serve me for nothing?
Tell me, what shall your wages be?"
16 Now Laban had two daughters. The name of the older was Leah, and the name of the younger was Rachel.
17 Leah's eyes were weak, but Rachel was beautiful in form and appearance.
18 Jacob loved Rachel. And he said, "I will serve you seven years for your younger daughter Rachel."
19 Laban said, "It is better that I give her to you than that I should give her to any other man; stay with me."
20 So Jacob served seven years for Rachel, and they seemed to him but a few days because of the love he had for her.
Genesis 12:10-20 (ESV)
10 Now there was a famine in the land. So Abram went down to Egypt to sojourn there, for the famine was severe in the land.
11 When he was about to enter Egypt, he said to Sarai his wife, "I know that you are a woman beautiful in appearance,
12 and when the Egyptians see you, they will say, ‘This is his wife.' Then they will kill me, but they will let you live.
13 Say you are my sister, that it may go well with me because of you, and that my life may be spared for your sake."
14 When Abram entered Egypt, the Egyptians saw that the woman was very beautiful.
15 And when the princes of Pharaoh saw her, they praised her to Pharaoh.
And the woman was taken into Pharaoh's house.
16 And for her sake he dealt well with Abram; and he had sheep, oxen, male donkeys, male servants, female servants, female donkeys, and camels.
17 But the Lord afflicted Pharaoh and his house with great plagues because of Sarai, Abram's wife.
18 So Pharaoh called Abram and said, "What is this you have done to me? Why did you not tell me that she was your wife?
19 Why did you say, ‘She is my sister,' so that I took her for my wife?
Now then, here is your wife; take her, and go."
20 And Pharaoh gave men orders concerning him, and they sent him away with his wife and all that he had
Job 42:12-15 (ESV)
12 And the Lord blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning. And he had 14,000 sheep, 6,000 camels,
1,000 yoke of oxen, and 1,000 female donkeys.
13 He had also seven sons and three daughters.
14 And he called the name of the first daughter Jemimah, and the name of the second Keziah,
and the name of the third Keren-happuch.
15 And in all the land there were no women so beautiful as Job's daughters.
And their father gave them an inheritance among their brothers
Proverbs 5:15-19 (ESV)
15 Drink water from your own cistern,
flowing water from your own well.
16 Should your springs be scattered abroad,
streams of water in the streets?
17 Let them be for yourself alone,
and not for strangers with you.
18 Let your fountain be blessed,
and rejoice in the wife of your youth,
19 a lovely deer, a graceful doe.
Let her breasts fill you at all times with delight;
be intoxicated always in her love.
