Spirit renewed I take one step forward put on a brave new face
Still a bit  shaken from the blow...memories still bleeding leaving a trace   
Can't win them all,sometimes a loss is needed to fully grasp & understand
See the bigger picture and be better prepared for whatever is planned

Peel the layers of sadness and find ways to develop thick skin
Starting over is never easy just as letting someone new in
Knowing what to say or do to even the more experienced players
Mistakes are bond to be made so getting back up is human nature

Learn from the past to regain the strength  to push through
Easier said than done once 3 words spoken can do to you
Tears apart even the thickest armour right into your soul
Once that arrow hits... you lose all fonction and self control

To surrender yourself completely and to fall again to my knees
Accept  the past as memories I need to calm myself in complete serenity
To avoid missing someone amazing when the opportunity arises
That chances encounter might bring an element of surprise
