Quarantine Blues

This life only becomes quiet and strange
And loneliness follows closely behind
No more beautiful smiles can be exchanged
Will this year be how our lives are defined

All our worries become creeping shadows
Waiting silently in the back of minds
And worry becomes harder to dispose
Everything once stable only unwinds

We try to chase the lives we knew before
But in the end, we end up feeling lost
We think and wonder what are we here for
And then we think if this is worth the cost

So here we are feeling stuck and alone
All our lives became as lifeless as stone
