The Room

I need a room, a room where no one can hear me. Dark yet not dampen big yet small room.
A four-corner roof and floor room.
In this room, I want to be heard no longer.
In this room, I want to hold back no longer.
In this room, I want to be abandoned...
Seeing the true colours in my own flesh for the first time.
Seeing the true feeling I have for myself and you.
Seeing the true self tearing, self-terminating, self ingesting demon that's inside of me.
I want to scream.
I want to yell.
I want to cry out into the void that's this room.
I don't care if my lungs burst.
I don't care if my throat rips.
I don't care if my voice pops my eardrums and blood runs down the side of my face.
I just want to set myself free.

About this poem

This poem is about the roaring feeling I keep inside of me and not let anyone see. I really felt down and inspiration came to me. It doesn't follow any regulations or rules, I just wrote what came to my heart. I hope you enjoy this small poem. Whoever you are, thank you.
