Missed Information

Lawrence S. Pertillar 2947 (Connecticut)

Is the information currently available,
Dismissed, missed?
Or purposely mis-fed.
With an intent to have presented,
To be re-interpreted instead?

It seems more difficult these days,
To communicate what is basic.
On a daily basis.
The contents of a simple message sent...
Is too often misunderstood to understand,
Its meaning meant.
Regardless if it is read,
With words highlighted for emphasis.
Or done repeatedly to say,
To have a hand raised to ask...
'Could there be something else,
You did not say?
You wish to us to relay?
I just don't get it. I can't be the only one.

Many listening or reading,
A direct message to them sent.
To disregard or either delude...
The truth of a message to add and include,
Their own personalized version of it.

Missed or to dismiss information,
Can and do result in arguments.
To start rumors and gossip.
By lovers of confusion and conflicts.
Who themselves could care less,
Of proof or its evidence...
Nowhere to claim can be produced.
Will deny they were involved,
As participants assisting the havoc!

'Vengeance is MINE!, sayeth The Lord!'

'Sayeth the who? What?
There you go,
Doing your best...
To get a by-stander involved.
What we do to do it done,
Has nothing to do with God or The Lord.
Stay on topic.
And anyway...
The first message I received,
Was delivered,
By some dude named, Hank.
And another one I read,
Had typos all over.
And that messenger admitted,
He gets paid to deliver.
Not explain the contents of it!'

'I'm just saying,
Defending ignorance...
Has its consequences.'

Stupidity to pay for,
Can be extremely expensive.'

'I wouldn't know.
How much have you paid so far?
I mean...
If you don't mind,
Sharing with the rest of us...
Your experiences!'

I'm a lover.
Not a jaw breaker!
