MISFITS

We are all but a bunch of misfits

Looking for a place to belong

A solace for our depression

Relief for our deprivation

Alleviation from our afflictions

Pacification of our troubles

We hide in our special clandestine places

Just to adequately give ourselves room for germination

Waiting for a chance to sprout

But for now this self I embrace

Knowing that somehow somewhere

We all experience the sense of disparity

About this poem

We are all striving to bring the best out of our lives regardless of what we have or what we don't have
