Dead hope

My heart is empty
As barren as the endless sand
But to survive an oasis must be made
In the vast nothingness of my heart
I will create an oasis of my own
It’s time to stop dwelling in the past
And walk into the oasis that I shall build.

Love can hurt but why stop when you can feel that bliss again?
