I'm Believing In Elohim

I'm Believing In Elohim
Author: Mark V. Markov

I sit and wait
There is a living God
Who contemplates all fate
And Elohim does know
The places where people go
When they're grey and old

Cause I've been told
That salvation
Through Jesus Christ
Let's faith, hope, and love unfold

And as I am laying on my bed
Thoughts running through my head
And sometimes
If it feels like love is dead
With all my heart
I'm believing in Elohim,
I'm believing in Elohim
With all that I have

And through it all
God offers me protection
A lot of love and direction
I try to live life right
And not to do wrong

When I'm feeling weak
And my loneliness walks down
A one way street
I look above
And I know I'll always be blessed with love
As this feeling grows
It brings breath to my skin and bones

Yet when it feels like all love is dead
With all my heart
I'm believing in Elohim,
I'm believing Elohim
With all that I have

Through it all
God offers me protection
A lot of love and direction
I try to live life right
Not to do wrong

And down the waterfall
Where ever it will take me
I know that life won't brake me
When times comes to call
God won't forsake me
With all my heart
I'm believing in Elohim,
I'm believing in Elohim
With all that I have.

Through it all
God offers me protection
A lot of love and direction
I try to live life right
And not to do wrong

And down the waterfall
Where ever it will take me
I know that life won't brake me
When times comes to call
God won't forsake me
With all my heart
I'm believing in Elohim,
I'm believing in Elohim
With all that I have…

1 John 4:8 ESV

Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.

1 John 4:7-12 ESV

7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.

8 Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.

9 In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him.

10 In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

12 No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.

I know that only Bible word imparts Life. No other literature, even the classics. BUT be sparse with the direct references, the quotes, one after the other.
The New Testament is written for the believers, in the epistles. But the uninitiated need to hear from your heart, your type of words, your overflowing hope and joy. Perhaps then and only then, a direct passage or two. If we over-do it the listener starts to doubt our words, our assurance, seeming somewhat desperate in the giving.

A lover, a father, a champion and protector. Such is Love…and love is God. Read again John’s first Letter. Love NOT the World. I have tapped you Mark as a favourite. Is it bold, risky, dangerous to be overtly Christ loving in poems. Nah, nah…it is the obvious response of a purchased happy hopeful child of the King. Joint heir with Jesus as we travel this Sod.

This poem is a Christian's delight ! God is known by hundreds of names, and Elohim - mighty and strong is one of them !

Like what you've done there! Do you know we have a song parody creator on our sister site Lyrics.com ? https://www.lyrics.com/create-a-song-parody
I think you're poem could work well there if you search for Robbie's 'Angels' :)

I have never ever used your created parody device creator
That perhaps you use all of the time to write.

It's interesting how one can come along and in a creative way, motivate others not to appreciate someones else's creative poetic talent. And make it look like it was a compliment.
May the Lord God repay you for all your hidden evil intentions.

Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.

      Deuteronomy 30:19 (ESV)

19 I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live,
