I saw a picture of you today.
Dang baby, you're looking good!
You sure ain't making it easy on a brother!
You were married, I got married, we had every reason to forget the last time we were in each other's arms.
We have only life to blame that we are both free again.
You were the last woman I made love to before I married, and if circumstances had been only slightly different, circumstances could have been very different!
And now you and I stand looking across the miles, thinking, wondering, what did that one night really mean?
How deep does that primal urge run?
Can we afford to touch like that again? Can we afford not to?
What was the true story behind that complaint?
And can we make it real this time?
Can we make it for a lifetime?
And tell me baby,
Is it a crime?
