"We Have So Much Love Yet To Make!" 2.0

"We Have So Much Love Yet To Make!"

Why are the first words I want to say to you, "We have so much love yet to make?"
Time and space have utterly failed to erase the truth of our love.  There are endless miles between us, but regardless how close I am, outside of your arms is infinitely far.

These lines serve only to increase the volume on the years of silence that were only broken by our last kiss.
A symphony of sounds played with passion upon the truth of our love, ending with an ever resounding note that even now resonates in my soul.

Words seem wholly insufficient, even "I Love You" absent of kisses are stones that fall to the floor!

What should my next words be? How can they not question fate? Question the silence that could only be broken on the flesh! Question the endless strings of yes's, where before there were so many unspoken no's?
Love was always for our hearts to speak. Soul speech, that spoke volumes of a Love that was, could never be, yet could not be denied.
And now words are our enemies; Time, Space, Fear, The Utter Impossibility of Relationship, Hope, hated words that deny the truth of Our Love.
And here I am again, using words when what's needed is a kiss.
Using words born of that note still resounding in my soul.
Wanting only to close the distance to where you are once again in reach.
And I, no longer a single note of discord but a player in that infinite symphony that is our Love.
"We have so much Love yet to make"

About this poem

Who hasn't had one if those loves? One of those love that should never have ended, never really did end. Passion was so easy, we never really had to make love but just let it be. Some people leave a life long impression upon you, in this case a note that resonates endlessly in your soul.
