Time is funny revised

Ronald Woods 1965 (Los Angeles)

I am like any other.
Difficult picking me out of a crowd.
My voice does not ripple water.
Yet no less proud.

I stand on my own.
I know who I am
Spent a lifetime.
Molding me.

Time moves faster the longer we are here.
Having always to catch up.
Not fearing the time I have left.
Nor how full is my cup.

Too many Jokes, not enough time.
Living times relentless attack.
There are times I laugh so hard I cry.
Watching a hearse with a luggage rack.

About this poem

It seems I am spending more time.. saying goodbye to friends. Rather than Best of luck. On those rare occasions however, I could not hold back my laughter seeing a loaded down hearse.. As if moving to a new apartment. AMAZING!!
